Meet the Talent
Matthew Kollar | Founder & Director
Primarily working in film and directing for film, Matthew’s work has been featured on major horror outlets and showcased in film festivals all around the world. Besides on-camera work, he's directed the English Voice Casts for Netflix International hits "Money Heist" and "Lupin" and his original composing can be heard in cult-classic feature films such as Bobcat Goldthwait's "God Bless America".
Matt Maguire | Producer/Writer
Matt Maguire is a producer, animator, and design specialist. He was raised in a Massachusetts bar and began his media career at the age of 13 via public access TV and radio. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2009, he has worked in production and post for a wide variety of series, shorts, features, and music videos.
Anjela Vega | Director and Movement Coordinator
With nearly 20 years of experience and a Masters in Directing from UCLA, Anjela brings a keen eye and creative vision to all Space Barbarian Productions projects. Anjela specializes in movement direction and has directed, choreographed, taught, and lectured at universities and theaters all over California. Danielle Kaufman | Production Designer
Danielle is a production designer with experience art directing music videos for Billie Elish and creative interactive installations for the LA Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Patricio Wolovich & Encirco Studios | Practical Effects
Encirco Studios is a practical effects house with years of experience and an impressive portfolio, including building props, sets, puppets, and creatures for Disney, Universal, and The Jim Henson Foundation. K. Ava Syzperski | Screenwriter, Author, Poet
K. Ava was born young to a Polish American family in Pittsburgh. She's currently working on the limited series, “Dear Boss”, which is being shopped around to major studios, and her award-winning short script “Rites/Rights”, which was handpicked by film director and screenwriter James Ivory.

We specialize in the creepy and the curious and can help you bring the essence of your story to the screen. Some examples of our work include the short film, Nightshade Labs, which was featured by Crypt TV, the official music video for Joy Shannon and the Beauty Marks’ “Cloister,” which won multiple International Awards for best music video in Germany, and “Hello Instagram,” which featured at the BAM Puppets of Film festival curated by the Jim Henson Foundation.

Our founder, Matthew Kollar, has worked with Netflix as the voice over director of the English versions of Netflix’s international hits “Money Heist” “Lupin” and “Big Bug” which have garnered much publicity, including a feature in the New York Times, and were number one on Netflix in the U.S.
